BIOGRAPHY

Wendy Schmidt was born in 1958 and raised in Coquitlam,  and now resides in New Westminster, BC. My art training comes from taking classes for many years. She  played the drums in a band, while painting in between shows.

My aim is to express my interest in nature and wildlife through my paintings and photography.  I  like capturing a peaceful feeling, a calmness of colors. Painting in  realisim with watercolor & oils.

I like to paint what I seen & photographed, then re-create it in a painting. There is lots to create and explore at my home on the Pacific West Coast of British Columbia.
